RAINIERS RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE, INC. (RRDI) is a 100% Filipino-owned company that positioned itself as a one-stop service provider in the areas of R&D, raw material sourcing, product development, toll manufacturing or private labelling, product testing and packaging development. From its humble beginnings in 1989, it has grown into one of the pioneers and recognized leaders in the field of herbal or natural products in the Philippines. Over the years, the manufacture of effective yet safe, high-quality natural products has been the main drive of the company. This standard of product excellence has been recognized in the 27th Salon International Des Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland in 1999. It is now one of the top product developers and toll manufacturers in the field of personal care, pet care, household & hazardous substances (HHS) and natural pesticides in the country. In 2022, it obtained its FDA license to manufacture drugs, allowing it now to produce products with therapeutic claims.

RRDI's products have been formulated using medicinal plants and minerals found in the Philippines such as Lawat (Litsea glutinosa), Gugo (Entada phaseoloides), Akapulco (Cassia alata L.), Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocus nucifera), Carrot (Daucus carota sativa), Calamansi (Citrofortunella microcarpa), Tawas (Potash alum), Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) and other natural ingredients. This advocacy in using traditional medicinal plants encourage local farmers to cultivate these alternative crops as an additional source of income, thereby help push-up the economy in the countryside and rural areas.
